Check launches the MCP Server and opens a new agentic interface for e-commerce management

Anyone who manages an online store knows how exhausting it is to keep track of everything happening in an e-commerce operation.

To find out if a feature is ready, if a problem has been fixed, if an approval is pending, or what the next step in the strategy is, the path is usually always the same: status meetings, reports, WhatsApp messages, emails, tickets, and dashboards.

These channels remain important. But often, they create a game of "telephone" between the client and the team operating the e-commerce store.

On one side, the operation is being carried out. On the other, the client's team is making decisions. But the information is scattered in different places. The result is wasted time, overwhelmed digital leaders, and important decisions that end up stalled due to a lack of context.

In e-commerce, waiting for the next meeting to understand what is happening can mean losing sales. That is why Check launched its MCP Server.

What is Check's MCP Server?

Simply put, the MCP Server works as a secure bridge between the client's artificial intelligence assistants and the Check Platform.

Imagine that the AI your company already uses in its daily operations, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other compatible tools, speaks one language. And the systems that manage your operation speak another. The MCP Server is the secure translator that connects these two worlds.

In practice, this allows the client's authorized AI assistant to consult operational information directly on the Check Platform, within clear rules of access, security, and permission.

Instead of manually searching for information, the client can ask their own assistant:

  • "Which deliveries are in progress?"

  • "What is waiting for my approval?"

  • "Which tickets are open?"

  • "Are there any bottlenecks in the operation?"

With this connection, the agent can access authorized information, cross-reference operational data, and help the client monitor the work with greater clarity, speed, and context. And it can go beyond inquiries: open a ticket, register an improvement idea, or approve an item in testing, always within the defined permissions.

From status meetings to connected operations

The big change is not just in the technology. It is in how the service is delivered.

For a long time, transparency in the service relationship depended on portals, reports, and meetings. The client had to log into a screen, search for information, interpret data, and connect everything themselves. Now, Check is beginning to transform this logic.

The operation is no longer just presented in periodic cycles; it can also be queried by AI agents.

It is the evolution of the old Client Portal into what Check calls the Agent Bus: a layer where deliveries, tickets, decisions, approvals, tactics, and learnings can be read, interpreted, and triggered by authorized machines.

Check's strategic difference

Many companies already use artificial intelligence internally to gain productivity: writing texts, analyzing data, generating reports, organizing tasks, accelerating processes, and creating code.

This is important, but it does not necessarily change the merchant's experience. Even with AI behind the scenes, the relationship with the merchant remains manual and laborious. Check is taking a different path.

With the MCP Server, the company is not just using AI to work faster. It is opening its operational layer so that the client's own AI can monitor, audit, and interact with the delivery of the service. This is the foundation of Agentic Service Delivery, or B2A Service Delivery.

In practice, this means that service delivery is now being prepared not only for people, meetings, and screens, but also for artificial intelligence agents connected to the real context of the operation.

Important: agility does not mean giving up control. When the client approves something through the agent, the actual execution goes through validation by the Check team before going live. It is automation with people ensuring quality, not replacing them.

Each client has operational intelligence within Check

The Check Platform already organizes deliveries, tickets, decisions, tactics, and learnings from clients' e-commerce operations. This set of information forms a kind of operational intelligence for each client within Check, built over years of real operation and more than 8,000 executed e-commerce tactics.

And this intelligence does not only store what went right.

"Many times, the greatest value lies in the tactics that went wrong, because they reveal the weaknesses of the strategy. Managing an e-commerce store looks more and more like a game of chess: every piece has a function, every move has consequences, and the strategy needs to be continuously adjusted based on what happens in practice." — Cícero Ronchi, COO of Check

Humans and agents working together

The MCP Server also reinforces Check's vision of AI Harnessing for Commerce: applying the concept of AI orchestration, already known in the market, to the specific context of digital commerce. Not as a collection of disconnected tools, but as a layer that connects humans, systems, data, methodology, and agents.

The goal is not to replace people with robots. It is to give more analysis, monitoring, and execution capability to the professionals who lead digital operations.

Because isolated AI tools do not change the game. The real advancement happens when people, data, systems, and intelligent assistants begin working together, connected in the same operational architecture.

For Check, the MCP Server is a step in this direction. A new interface between the client and the operation: more transparent, more integrated, more auditable, and prepared for a world in which companies will also be operated with the support of artificial intelligence agents.

Pioneering in the Brazilian market

Check is the first in Brazil, among e-commerce service companies on Shopify, to expose its own operation to be accessed by clients' AI agents. It is not about using AI only internally, but about opening the layer where service delivery happens so that the client's artificial intelligence can read and trigger it.
